About organisation

City West Housing Trust, a ForViva group member is a not-for-profit organisation owning over 14,600 homes in the North West. We take a ‘can do, will do’ approach to our work and are proud of our success so far. Our strong relationships with our customers and partners have helped us make significant improvements in our local communities.  We are a Forviva group member, and our vision and values reflect this.

ForViva’s vision of “improved lives” is underpinned by the Community Impact Strategy. It’s all about working openly and in partnership so that together we make a difference to lives and futures.

Visible Outcomes was conceptualized by 3 local Salford residents.  These 3 residents came to Salford from different countries and found home here. Being a part of the community and understanding the needs of the local residents came to them through various sources of employment, volunteering and being involved in social causes. These 3 residents were further inspired to strengthen the idea of social business after attending the conference by Professor Muhammed Yunus at the University of Salford. Visible Outcomes was conceptualized to focus on 3 strands of support for the community. These three strands focus on Embrace, Educate and Integrate.
