Different Pasts, Shared Future

A collaboration with local artists, film makers, actors and dancers to highlight refugee stories and celebrate different cultures from around the world.

To celebrate Refugee Week, local schools, along with PRIME Theatre, Swerve Dance Theatre Company and Create Studios are coming together to present a one-off show at Swindon Dance featuring drama, dance and film, inspired by refugees' stories.

There will also be the unprecedented opportunity to view works of art by acclaimed artist David Bent and by visitors to the Harbour Project.

MOVEMENT 2000 is a series of pictures, uncanny in its prescience. Created nearly 20 years ago, MOVEMENT 2000 has as much, perhaps even more, resonance now. The art group at the Harbour Project has used this collection to inspire them in depicting their own journeys to safety.

Tickets for the performance, together with the art exhibition are £5, but are very limited. Please book now to avoid disappointment.
