The Sheffield & Tinsley Canal is a surreal place rich in history, but often hidden from view. Everyday Myths is an interactive audio walk interweaving stories from the communities who live along the canal with ancient secrets hidden in the waterways. Hear of journeys and homecomings, beasts and heroines, and find artefacts, some real and some imagined, and share your own stories too!
This audio artwork, by Sheffield-based theatre company The Bare Project, has been created over the past two months through a series of 'Story Swap Cafes' and workshops with residents of all ages from The Wicker, Attercliffe, Tinsley and Rotherham.
