And I Dreamt I Was Drowning

Kiya and Daniel dream of Europe. She will do anything to cross the water. He will do anything to stay with her.

“What’s the first thing you want to do when we reach?

What?

You heard me. What will we do? I want to find some ice cream. Is that stupid?

Yep”

If Kiya and Daniel want a future, they’ve got to lie. They’ve got to grow up. They’ve got to get out.
Come along to the rehearsed reading of ‘And I Dreamt I Was Drowning’, as part of the annual Talawa Firsts Festival on Thursday 14th June at Rich Mix.
