Open Arms Walking Project
Free Walking Group
Every Thursday 12.30pm -2.30pm
From Town Hall, Rochdale.
Open Arms is a way for people to get to know refugees and asylum seekers who are living in their area. Meeting face to face and forming friendships can help people understand more about the asylum system and to reduce prejudice towards those within it.
Integrating the history and heritage of Rochdale are key components of this project. Touchstones have agreed to work in partnership with Rochdale & District Mind to organise walking tours as a part of the Open Arms Project.
If you would like to find out more about your local area, meet new people and improve your fitness, then join our FREE weekly walking group where you’ll learn about places of interest and heritage in Rochdale.
|Time||12:00 pm - 4:00 pm|
