Our Refugee Week South West regional co-ordinator has completed his cycle challenge!

On 8th September Refugee Week South West Coordinator Qerim Nuredini, who is based at Refugee Action in Bristol, completed his charity cycle. Qerim was raising money for Bristol Hospitality Network, who support Refugee Week and Celebrating Sanctuary in the region and are part of the City of Sanctuary network.

Qerim finished the whole route 54 miles in 3hours and 48 minutes which he was extremely pleased with: “Thanks to everyone who supported me by sponsoring or just encouraging me to do the challenge. I was overwhelmed with people’s responses about the cause and how positive everyone I spoke to was about Bristol Hospitality Network and the work that is being done for destitute asylum seekers. I have managed to raise £500 which will go towards the food bill for the destitute client’s supported by Bristol Hospitality Network.”

Congratulations and well done Qerim from all of us here at Refugee Week UKand Counterpoints Arts!
