Despite what three would have you believe, 20 is a magic number.

Twenty is a formative and unforgettable age. It was the decade women won equal voting rights in the UK. And it’s the number of years Refugee Week has been celebrating the contributions, resilience and creativity of refugees.

What could you do with 20 seconds, 20 minutes, 20 hours, 20 people or 20 something elses to show solidarity with refugees and bring communities together? A 20 minute musical jam? A 20 mile walk? A list of 20 things that the world needs to know?

For this Simple Act, we are handing you the number 20, and that’s it. The rest is up to you.

Let us know what you create and be part of the Simple Acts movement by sharing on social media using #SimpleActs, or emailing us.

There are 20 Simple Acts to celebrate 20 years of Refugee Week. For more information and the full list, visit the Simple Acts page.
