The event is an open and welcoming space for everyone. It is an opportunity to come together in solidarity and celebration with people from the many different communities that create our brilliant, diverse, culturally rich town.

Join us at ARC this June as we celebrate the contributions, creativity, and resilience of the refugee community to Stockton-on-Tees and those seeking sanctuary here. This free day-long event will include performances, stalls, food, and other activities.

Refugee Week is an annual national festival with events taking place throughout the UK. You can find out more about Refugee Week and this year’s theme, Our Home, on the refugeeweek.org.uk website. Stockton’s Refugee Week Celebration Event is organised by a planning group made up of refugees and individuals seeking sanctuary, and supported by organisations working regularly with those communities.
