Between the 17th and 23rd of June, Project Play are hosting an online art auction to raise much needed funds.

They have collected a wide array of art from artists including Naomi Munuo, Leonie Macmilla and Billy Childish to celebrate Refugee Week – there really is something for everyone.

Project Play works with displaced children living on the France/UK border. Our  team of fantastic volunteers run daily play sessions at day centres, safe houses and in the living sites. These sessions include games, arts, songs, crafts, music, drama and sport – bringing silliness, smiles and joy in response to the difficult life experienced by children on the move.

The majority of the community Project Play works with live outside in camping tents, even in winter. Living informally, children have very limited access to food, water, sanitation and security. They are denied the right to formal education and safe spaces to play. Project Play helps children have fun, mitigate the toxic stress they experience and support their growth.
