Refugees at Home: how to become a host in Bedfordshire?

Refugees at Home: how to become a host in Bedfordshire?

Refugees and people seeking asylum are fleeing war or persecution in their own countries. Unfortunately many who come to the UK in search of safety find themselves facing homelessness and destitution. They may be without statutory support for long periods, or need some additional help to build new lives.

Refugees at Home connects people with a spare room to refugees and people seeking asylum in need of somewhere to stay.

If you have a spare room and want to learn more about temporarily hosting someone in need come along to our informal community meeting to learn more about the process!

Agenda:

  • Introductions
  • Guest talk from Refugees at Home Volunteer & Engagement Manager
  • Q&A with current hosts & home visitors
