Arts, Refugees and Mental health – report launch

Arts, Refugees and Mental health – report launch

Counterpoints Arts has been commissioned by The Baring Foundation to write the latest in a series of research reports about arts and mental health, this time looking at the provision for refugees and asylum seekers.

Creatively Minded and Refugees – Arts, refugees and mental health will be launched at Yorkton Workshops in London on 20th June as part of Refugee Week in an event running from 12 noon to 3pm.

The report features case studies of 12 organisations running arts programmes for refugees and asylum seekers that have a focus on mental health, along with some key learnings and suggestions for further research.

A copy of the report will be available on the Baring Foundation website from 20th June.

The event is invite only but if you are interested in finding our more about the event and possibly attending please contact hello@counterpoints.org.uk
