You are warmly invited to our Community Art Gathering. Over the last year we have been coming together around monthly community art workshops. For Refugee Week we are holding an exhibition of the visual art we have created. We also wanted to celebrate the warmth we have found in the workshops through sharing music, dance, poetry, fashion, stories and stand up during this gathering.

Our workshops have been attended by trained artists as well as community artists, including men and women who are seeking protection as refugees and women who are working as migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong. In this coming together we have created a community of shared difference and interconnection. We are so grateful to have been given this gift.

The joy we have found sustains us as we hope to find ways to continue these workshops in the future.
