Sanctuary Runners is a community integration through sport initiative, bringing together Irish residents, refugees and international protection applicants to run, jog or walk on the same Sanctuary Runners team in a spirit of friendship, solidarity and respect. Sanctuary Runners engages with migrant communities in Direct Provision, displaced Ukrainians and all other migrant groups and Irish communities to be active together, show solidarity and support physical and mental wellbeing.  All participants wear the same Sanctuary Runners blue tshirt when participating, unifying the group. Sanctuary Runners Tallaght invite the community to join them to mark Word Refugee Week at the Dodder Valley parkrun.
