The Future of Refugee Employment in the UK
The last 24 months have seen seismic changes for the refugee population in the UK. The Refugee Employment Network (REN) along with partners and members across businesses, government, charities, and local authorities have been working together to build a brave new vision. We want to see a society where all refugees can find fulfilling jobs consummate with their professional experience. This positively impacts on their lives, wellbeing, and families, and supports them to integrate successfully into their new communities.
Hosted by the Refugee Employment Network (REN) and EY, this half-day event is a forum to reflect on progress, understand the main challenges, and hear about opportunities for greater collaboration to make sure refugees have a fair platform on which to build a livelihood in the UK.
This summit will bring together leading service providers, experts through experience, and employers welcoming refugees into their workforces, to debate, network, and learn from each other. It will be led by a full agenda of speakers and panellists, alongside space for networking with specialists on refugee employment.
The summit will take place on 23 June between 10 am and 4 pm at EY London, 1 More London Place, London SE1 2AF. The venue is fully accessible and has lift access to the main event room.
