Let your generosity and creativity combine by making a gift for Refugee Week’s 20th birthday.
Decision one – what to make? Origami or jewellery, a painting or a hat, or something else entirely? Have a rummage in your local library/ look on YouTube for craft ideas and instructions if you need.
Decision two – who to give it to? Refugee Week is all about building community, so think of someone outside your usual circle. Maybe there’s someone you’d like to say thank you to, or someone new in your neighbourhood, workplace or school. You could also make gift-making an activity at your Refugee Week event, so everyone goes home with a gift from someone else.
