Refugee Voices: “Words of (Com)passion”

Dear friends, we would like to invite you to an online talk by our guest speaker Sayed. He fled Afghanistan twice – and became a refugee twice. He will join us online from Indonesia where he resides now.
Sayed will tell us his experiences, arts and cultural heritage, gender aspect of displacement, his love for Persian poetry, and his “passion for promoting compassion”. He will also read some of his poems and we will have a questions & answers section after his talk.
This event is organised in partnership with the Conversation Partner (CP) programme of NaTakallam (“We Speak”) and No Hate Speech UK, and with a grant support from Ben & Jerry’s.
