For a 3rd year running, two local refugee groups – Boaz Trust and supporters of Freedom from Torture – will be holding a popular Garden Cafe as part of Burnage and Levenshulme Open Gardens in South Manchester. Highlights include Botanically-themed cakes, Fairtrade and fresh herbal teas, freshly ground coffee and a raffle. Previous years’ supporters have eaten a massive £800-worth of cake in just 5 hours. Can you help us beat it this year?
The Garden Cafe will be outside Bud Nursery, Omer Drive/Grangethorpe Drive, Burnage, Manchester M19 on Sunday 3rd June 11am – 4pm.
