Counterpoints Arts

1989 Productions is a London based theatre company specialising in work about human rights. Founded in 2014 by Allegra Nespoli and Pippa Howie, their aim is to create a platform to tell stories for and about those who are not able to speak out. They collaborate with emerging artists and writers to tell stories that may otherwise never be told, and in doing so strive to stage work that questions its audience. Their first production, Lela & Co, debuted at the Royal Court in September 2015.
