We are a BME led housing association that was established in Bristol in 2008 . We specialise in housing and supporting newly arrived refugees (especially from Syria, Sudan, Iran, Ethiopia and Eritrea) and have an office and multiple supported accommodation across Birmingham. We started our operations here in Birmingham in 2012 in Handsworth with our supported accommodation in Soho Road and Thornhill Road.
We now have several supported accommodation in Handsworth and around Birmingham as well as working closely with local police, fire service and several statutory voluntary organisation across Birmingham. Since we started here we have supported several hundred vulnerable clients, with large majority of them getting successful outcomes with us such as permanent accommodation and work. In the last two years we became finalist for the Social Enterprise of the Year in the National Business Award 2014 and 2015 the awarding body distinguished us for the social impact we are having. This year we have recently received another Highly Commended award from the most prestigious and well respected award in the housing sector UK Housing Award Inside Housing 2016 and The Matrix accreditation for our support services.
