City Texture is an invitation for you to participate in an art exercise. It encourages you to travel in your own city with a set of new eyes. To look for textures and details that you didn’t pay attention to before these “Slow-Motion-New-Normal-Strange” times.

This participatory art project is created by visual artist Dima Karout as part of a series of online activities by Play For Progress.

In this video, Dima Karout will share with you her love for details, texture, and dynamic cities and invite you to take part in an online exhibition for Refugee Week 2020 that will go live before the end of June.

After watching the video and spending time over the next few days to create your own “City Texture Frames”, please send your submissions by email to: contact@DimaKarout.com

Ideally, Dima would love to collect all “City Texture Frames” from participants by June 20, so get creating!
