These are the terms and conditions for our e-shop. The e-shop is the only way to buy materials from the Refugee Week UK team. Those wishing to buy must do so using a credit or debit card; there is no invoicing facility. Purchasers must also have a working e-mail address.

Purchases made through the Refugee Week Eshop will be processed by Counterpoints Arts.

Your order is subject to the following terms and conditions. These may change from time to time.

1. Prices

Prices stated on the website are inclusive of postage, packing, and VAT.

2. Post and packaging charges and delivery

All prices include postage and packing for deliveries within Great Britain and Northern Ireland (we cannot send to the Channel Islands). We do not deliver overseas.

We aim to deliver within 10 working days (if the item is in stock). Please be aware that in order to guarantee delivery of your item(s) in time for Refugee Week we need to have received your order. We use Royal Mail first class or Business post depending on the size and weight of your order.

Please supply your full postal address for delivery, as Business Post is unable to deliver to PO Boxes.

3. Your order

We will do our best to fulfil your order but cannot guarantee to do so. Our delivery dates are only estimates. An email receipt will be sent to you from Refugee Week confirming your order. You will also receive a confirmation email from World Pay to confirm your payment. You must keep email receipts as proof of purchase or to return any items. Your purchase will also be confirmed online and users are recommended printing a copy for their records.

4. Payment

We are committed to protecting your privacy and to ensure your online transaction is secure.

All credit/charge card payments are subject to authorisation by the card issuer. If your payment is not authorised, we will cancel your order (and notify you that we have done so). The goods remain our property until you have paid for them.

Payment is done only through World Pay account via debit or credit card. We cannot accept invoices, overseas payments or payment in any other way. The contact details in these Terms and Conditions are for returns and deliveries only. We will not deal with any other matters raised at this address.

5. Returns

Once you have placed an order, it cannot be cancelled while being processed. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have 28 days from the date of purchase in which to return the item(s) for a full refund.

Please not that we can only accept return of item(s) if the item is in an unused condition.

Return the item(s) to us in its original condition within 28 days from the date of purchase, along with copies of both your email confirmations from Refugee Week and World Pay and an accompanying letter with contact details – phone number and home address and email.

The package should be securely wrapped and sent to: Refugee Week, 240-250 Ferndale Road, London, SW9 8BB. We also ask that you email a copy of the letter to our email info@refugeeweek.org.uk with your transaction number so that we can keep track of your returned item. Please put REFUND in the email subject line.

Once we have received the returned item, we will refund your purchase.
We will not be responsible for any damage or loss in transit and recommend that you use insured post.

6. Damaged goods

You may also return item(s) after purchase if it is faulty or damaged.
The item(s) should be returned to us within 20 days from the date of purchase, along with copies of both your email confirmations from Refugee Week and World Pay and an accompanying letter with contact details – phone number and home address and email.

Please state in the accompanying letter that you are returning the item as damaged goods or if it was sent in error. If your item(s) were damaged and you do not say, we will presume damage was caused on the return journey and not issue a refund.

In the case of a damaged item or the wrong item being sent, please also state whether you would like a refund or a replacement.

The package should be securely wrapped and sent to: Refugee Week, 240-250 Ferndale Road, London, SW9 8BB.

We also ask that you email a copy of the letter to our email info@refugeeweek.org.uk with your transaction number so that we can keep track of your returned item.

We will also refund your return postage costs for a damaged item. We will not be responsible for any damage or loss in transit and recommend that you use an insured service. Please enclose proof of postage with your returned items. We cannot refund your post and packing if you do not give your full name and address.

7. Discontinued items

Items that have been discontinued will be removed from the online store as soon as they go out of stock. However, we may be unable to fulfil orders that were placed before this time. Customers will be notified of any items that we are no longer able to provide, any other items on the order will be dispatched in accordance with the terms and conditions.

8. Copyright and Licence

You are not permitted to remove or amend any trade mark, copyright or other proprietary notice on any of our publications that are the property of Refugee Week, our affiliates or of third parties who have granted us rights and are protected by United Kingdom and international copyright laws.

You are not permitted to reproduce, alter or translate the text of the Refugee Week logo for any other purpose than for Refugee Week related activities.

You acknowledge that all rights in and to any and all copyrights, know how and other intellectual property rights relating to our products are and shall remain our property, and those of our affiliates or of third parties who have granted us rights are and shall remain their property. You will not at any time do, or cause to be done, any act or thing which impairs or infringes those rights.

9. General

We do not make any representation or give any warranty or undertaking as to the quality of the goods, their correspondence with description or fitness for purpose, or that the goods are not defamatory, injurious, obscene or unlawful, or that any trade marks or copyright used on or in connection with the goods do not infringe any intellectual property rights not owned by us.

As far as is permitted by law, all implied warranties, conditions or other terms are hereby excluded. We shall not in any circumstances be liable for any special, indirect, consequential or economic loss (including but not limited to loss of profits, business, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings) howsoever caused.

These terms and conditions and all contracts under these terms and conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and all disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

We reserve the right to terminate any contract formed under these terms and conditions immediately by written notice and to take action to recover damages suffered by us if you breach any of these provisions.
