Calling Harehills ‘Our Home’ Exhibition

Calling Harehills ‘Our Home’ Exhibition

We are holding an exhibition across two Leeds venues during Refugee Week, from June 17th – 23rd 2024!

This year’s Refugee Week theme is ‘Our Home’, and this exhibition will focus on celebrating the thriving community within Harehills, reflecting the positive impact and legacy of those who have sought sanctuary in our communities in the place they call home.

This effective photo exhibition will include those that make Harehills the thriving community that it is, combined with quotes that celebrate the district and dispel any misconceptions and negative connotations about the place. We will run this exhibition during refugee week to focus on the positive impact and legacy that those who have sought sanctuary in our communities have contributed too and what ‘home’ means to them.

We’ll be hosting a special exhibition launch event on:

Monday 17th June
92 Degrees Coffee, Boar Lane
Leeds City Centre
LS1 6EN
6pm – 8pm

The exhibition will be on display there – and at Archive (94 Kirkstall Rd, Leeds LS3 1HD) for the entire duration of Refugee Week.
