Cuppa Hope: Tea & talks with refugees and UK for UNHCR – Bradford

Cuppa Hope: Tea & talks with refugees and UK for UNHCR – Bradford

Join UK for UNHCR on Thursday 20th June to celebrate Refugee Week 2024 at Cuppa Hope.

We know Brits love a cuppa, and great conversations can happen over a cuppa. That’s why UK for UNHCR is inviting you to Cuppa Hope, its free pop-up cafe event in Bradford on Thursday 20th June at Kunafa Tea Restaurant where you can attend ‘tea & talks’ with refugees from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Syria.

The Cuppa Hope café will feature ‘tea & talks’, where you will be immersed in a range of tea practices, taste delicious recipes and hear from refugees and former refugees who have found safety in the UK.

UK for UNHCR will also be serving a new limited-edition ‘Cuppa Hope’ tea, blended to connect us to the human stories behind being forced to flee, bringing people together through the simple joy of talking over a cuppa.

June 20 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
