Cuppa Hope: Tea & Talks with refugees and UK for UNHCR – Edinburgh

Join UK for UNHCR on Tuesday 11th June to celebrate Refugee Week 2024 at Cuppa Hope.

We know Brits love a cuppa, and great conversations can happen over a cuppa. That’s why UK for UNHCR is inviting you to Cuppa Hope, its first, free pop-up cafe event in Edinburgh on Tuesday 11th June at Coffee Saints Pavilion where you can attend ‘tea & talks’ with refugees from Syria, Ukraine and West Africa.

The Cuppa Hope cafe will feature ‘tea & talks’, where you will be immersed in a range of tea practices, taste delicious recipes and hear from refugees and former refugees who have found safety in the UK.

UK for UNHCR will also be serving a new limited-edition ‘Cuppa Hope’ tea, blended to connect us to the human stories behind being forced to flee, bringing people together through the simple joy of talking over a cuppa.
