A parade and performance celebrating the 10th anniversary of arts charity 6 Million Plus

Refugees, friends and community groups from 12 different countries have created a parade and performance inspired by the life and work of prolific Ukraininan folk artist Maria Prymachenko who painted colourful flowers, birds and beasts.  Maria’s painting of a dove of peace has become a symbol of hope for Ukraine around the world.

Featuring spectacular giant puppets, masks, banners, music and dance

Join us for a parade as part of Holmfirth Arts Festival on Saturday 15th June 2024 at 4pm leaving from Holmfirth Methodist Church Gardens

A free outdoor performance telling the story of Maria Prymachenko will start at 5pm at Holmside Gardens Holmfirth

Please allow extra travel time, as Holmfirth gets very busy.  There will be some road closures.
