Migrant Help, a charity that rebuild lives stolen by displacement, trafficking and modern slavery, is bringing three dramatic pieces of 3D street art to the Brighton Seafront ahead of Refugee Week on Saturday 17th June.  

This all-day display shares the story of Eskander, a survivor of human trafficking from Ethiopia, and the journey that took him from fear and violence in his home country to safety, refuge and a new start in the North of Ireland. 

As Eskander says: 

“On my journey it was not safe. Every single day, people died, cars were bombed. But coming to the UK and feeling safe… life is so great and amazing. I am set up, and building my life. My life is good.” 

Now a father, with a family home in Belfast and an impressive collection of medals having run 10k races for Northern Ireland and Ulster, people like Eskander are the people who Migrant Help exist to support. 

The charity invites the general public to come along to the Brighton Seafront, near the i360 event space from 11am to 6pm on Saturday to check out the vibrant art, and to learn more about the work that we do and the people that we do it for.
