The Women’s UK Parliamentary Team will hold a 5-a-side kick about match match with two refugee teams, Comfort Angels and the Afghan Women National Development Team on 21st of June 2023 from 8.00 – 9.00 at a training pitch in Waterloo.

Medias and Amnesty UK’s ambassadors will be present during this event.

Following on from the match the players will be invited to Parliament to meet with their MPs and watch PMQs.

Through this opportunity the women can have some asks pertaining to the Immigration Bill. This would be a great opportunity for the women to develop advocacy skills.  This initiative would increase knowledge and change attitudes and will raise awareness about  human rights.
