Glastonbury Festival
We’re delighted to share that we have been working in collaboration with the amazing people at Glastonbury to feature Refugee Week across the festival. Unfortunately tickets have been long sold out for Glastonbury, but if you are going please look out for Refugee Week’s presence across the site. Look out for:
- Murugiah’s beautiful piece of artwork ‘Compassion’ gracing the screens of the Pyramid, Other and West Holt stages.
- A collection of films from Together With Refugees, Refugee Council, Choose Love and Counterpoints Arts being shown between acts at the West Holts stage.
- ‘Compassion’ featured in Thursday mornings Peace Procession
- ‘Compassion’ as part of the amazing artwork surrounding the Park stage
- A collection of books about refugees within the library at Woodsies.
- ‘Compassion’ featured on posters across the site
If you enjoying Glastonbury please get involved with Refugee Week at the same time and see if there are simple acts you can carry out on site or at home.
