Home/Land: Worthing Festival & Refugee Week Exhibition

Home/Land: Worthing Festival & Refugee Week Exhibition

Home/Land – an exhibition on home, displacement and refuge.

The Socially Engaged Art Salon (SEAS) are holding an exhibition that delves into the multifaceted themes of home, refugees, migration, displacement, and diasporic sensibilities.

In an era marked by global movement and shifting identities, the exhibition will feature artworks submitted via an open call that reflects on the experiences of those uprooted from their homes, whether by choice or necessity.

The exhibition will explore forced migrations due to war, climate change, inequality and persecution based on sexuality. The exhibition will include free creative workshops and talks.

SEAS is an award winning artists’ led organisation that promotes socially engaged art practices and artists from underrepresented sectors and works with marginalised communities through exhibitions, workshops, and cultural events. It also offers an artists’ support programme and residencies.

You can find out more about SEAS on their website and Instagram.
