Migrateful is an award-winning charity & social enterprise supporting asylum seekers, refugees & migrants in their journey to integration & independence. They do this by preparing them to lead cookery classes where they share their traditional cuisine and culture with the public. As well as supporting its chefs, the organisation’s mission is to correct harmful narratives about immigration.

We’ve teamed up with our friends at Myatt’s Field Park to bring you a special seasonal Cookery Demo led by one of our Nigerian chefs Halima. It will take place outdoors at Myatt’s Fields community-run park in South London.

Halima will show you how to prepare a selection of delicious vegan dishes from Nigeria, as well as introduce you to new techniques and ingredients you can use to recreate her recipes at home. After watching the Cookery Demo, you’ll get the chance to sit down together in the park to enjoy the demo dishes and chat with Halima.
