Ramsgate’s REFUGEE WEEK 2024 will see four local organisations pulling together to promote a better understanding of why people migrate, and what it means to be a refugee. All activities are FREE!

On Thursday 20th June at 7pm Ramsgate Community Cinema (64 High Street,  Ramsgate, CT119RS) will screen Bafta award winning documentary, The Crossing + shorts.

On Friday 21st of June Discovery Planet will team up with expert educators from Dover-based charity, Samphire, to offer interactive, curriculum-linked workshops to local schools.

On Saturday 22nd of June Discovery Planet (47 High Street, Ramsgate, CT11 9AG) and Arts in Ramsgate (46 High Street) will both open their doors from 10am to 3pm to offer refreshments and a range of activities which explore the meaning of ‘HOME’, the theme of this year’s Refugee Week.
