Homelessness amongst refugees receiving a positive decision on their asylum claim has risen significantly over the past year. Join us to find out more about how you could become a Resident Landlord for a newly granted refugee, or a host for an asylum seeker or migrant in need.
The Diocese of London are partnering with the charity Housing Justice to provide an introduction to Refugee Lodgings, a new way to support refugees at risk of homelessness.
In this short stand- alone webinar, our speakers Joe Rinvolucri and Ella Gosling from Housing Justice will provide:
- A brief introduction to Housing Justice.
- An introduction to Hosting and Refugee Lodgings (why they are needed, what they are and the benefits to opening your home).
- An understanding of the support in place for Hosts and Resident Landlords.
- An opportunity to hear from a host’s experience.
- The opportunity to ask questions and find out about next steps.
This webinar will be hosted by the Diocese of London’s Compassionate Communities Team.
