In Sheffield, South Yorkshire, Refugee Council’s Women’s Craft and Chat Group have been working with volunteer Louise Kinlen, Cheryl Bowen (Community Curator at Sheffield Museum’s Trust) and Refugee Council’s Volunteer Coordinator Emma Msigiti to produce embroidered artwork inspired by the Refugee Week 2024 theme of ‘Our Home’. The group’s embroidered creations will be displayed at Weston Park Museum during the month of June for Refugee Week 2024, with the materials then moving to be displayed at another location in Weston Park Museum for the rest of the 2024.
