Photographic Exhibition by Refugees from the Saharwi, In Algerian Camps.
Wells Amnesty Group and Mid Somerset Oxfam Group are holding a photographic exhibition in the Stable Room at the Bishops Palace.
The photographs were all taken by young refugees from the Saharwi who have been living in camps in Algeria since 1975. Oxfam have been working in the camps for over 40 years and the conditions are becoming worse as temperatures can exceed 50 degrees Celsius with little or no rainfall.
There will be information about the work of Oxfam with refugees from around the world .
The exhibition will be open from 10.00am – 4.00pm on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st June
This is a free event with no admission charge to the Stable Yard
