Join Keighley Creative and Keighley College for Place of Sanctuary: A Peace Meal for Refugee Week on Thursday 22nd June at 4pm at Keighley College. Our Peace Meal is returning to Keighley for Bradford Refugee Week 2023. Piloted as a pivotal element of last year’s Keighley Arts and Film Festival in 2022 at Keighley Shared Church, this year’s shared offer is hosted at Keighley College. The Peace Meal is designed to build bridges between people who might not have an opportunity to meet, it’s a chance to share food and experience arts and culture as a community. Enjoy a delicious meal together and hear about Keighley College’s work as a designated College of Sanctuary. Featuring art made by Keighley College ESOL students. Come along and experience the richness and compassion that sharing food and stories can bring. Fee: Pay what you feel (suggested donation £5).
