Over the past few months, we have been working with an enthusiastic group of women and non-binary people to develop new writing on the theme of identity, displacement and adaptation. This is a Lottery Community funded project in collaboration with Commonword, the grassroots publishing organisation in Manchester.

The group has held 16 sessions with Maryam Alsaeid, Dipali Das and Peter Kalu as facilitators and developed some outstanding pieces of work to be shared with a wider audience. We will also share space with some of our youth creatives who participated in a 2 year long project with Manchester Museum and MMU.
​We will have live music by Parisa Pirzadeh and Naomi Kalu for this event.
