Practical Conservation at Walthamstow Wetlands
Get stuck into some practical conservation tasks around the reserve with the Walthamstow Wetlands team.
For this free session, you could be helping us manage our meadows, or maintain our outdoor garden spaces. Whatever we get up to, it will a great opportunity to spend time in nature, and meet new people.
No experience is necessary, and all tools and training will be provided. Just wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty, and sturdy shoes

The session will run from 10.30am – 12.30pm, followed by lunch 12.30 – 1.30
We will also be leading a guided walk after lunch (2 – 3.30) which you would be welcome to join as well.
This event is for refugees and asylum seekers and is over 16s only. 16 and 17 year olds should be accompanied by an adult.
