Refugee Week begins… community social gathering

In collaboration with the Community Base and No Hate Speech UK network, we are organising a community social evening to to mark the beginning of Refugee Week 2023 (19-25 June) and prepare for the follwoing day – Refugee Day (20th June)

– We will enjoy music, dance, and a huge buffet of home-made food with a wide range of Mediterranean recipes.
– You can take away free publications from the display table.
– During the evening we will also conduct a live interview with coordinators of the Amsterdam-based UNITED For Intercultural Action to hear about their 2023 Refugee Deaths Report.
– We will also hear the announcement on the virtual launch of EuroMernet’s new global refugee media project.
– You can take away free publications from the display table.
