Join us on Saturday, June 22nd, for a vibrant celebration of the rich tapestry that makes Cardiff our shared home. This family-friendly event at Cardiff Library showcases the beauty of our diversity, honouring Windrush Day, Pride, the Great Get Together, and the invaluable contributions of sanctuary seekers and refugees.

  • Immerse yourself in the rhythms: Experience the uplifting melodies of the One World Choir, be captivated by  performance from the vibrant Kurdish Association, Sudanese Community and Ukrainian Community.

  • Ignite young imaginations: Delight in captivating storytelling, unleash creativity in hands-on workshops, and transform with face painting.

  • Connect with your community: Engage with local organisations, universities, refugee support groups and many more

  • Explore art and activism: Discover the powerful visual art created by Cardiff Met’s Sanctuary Seeking Community and participate in a Hate Crime Awareness session led by Victim Support.

  • Listen to powerful stories: Be inspired by the personal journeys of migrants in a panel discussion facilitated by Dr. Laura Shobiye.
