Join Islington’s Refugee & Migrant Forum and Islington Council at the Assembly Hall for an unforgettable event to mark Refugee Week.

As well as remarks from local councillors, this inspirational event will include a live performance from Elaha Soroor, an award-winning London-based musician, vocalist, composer, and designer originally from Afghanistan. We’ll have a powerful dance performance from Ukrainian dance ensemble Stefania and The Sing for Freedom Choir, a community of torture survivors and friends who sing together in a spirit of joy and hope, will also be there to perform live for those in attendance.

Let’s come together to learn and celebrate the contributions, creativity and resilience of people seeking sanctuary in Islington.
