Refugee Week Norwich 2023 centres around compassion – the kindly welcome, inclusion, and richness that we can share between settled and new communities within our city.

Compassion can mean small personal acts, or reaching out with purpose to make a wider impact.
Refugee Week Norwich celebrates and brings together the many cultures of the city, to give insight into other people’s worlds. This means meeting together to talk, listen to and hear each other. We share our stories, we share food and music, we share our space, and we aim for a more Compassionate City.

From reframing your narrative, and carrying out simple acts, to contributions of sharing, time, money or resources… together we make Norwich a Compassionate City.

• Donate – your time (volunteer, mentor and more), resources (watch our social media for appeals such
as bikes, or men’s shoes), money (become a regular supporter or donate to Welcome Wheels), skills (teaching, horticulture, driving, and befriending)
