RELAX for Women/ NB only
Feel like you could do with some time to rest and relax? Need a reminder to pause and look after yourself? Join Jen for a free relaxation and gentle movement session for women/ NB to come together in a quiet and shared space. Space will be held for you to explore some gentle movements to ease the body, relaxing breath techniques to calm the mind and guided meditation to help you to rest.
Benefits of this workshop include reducing mental, physical and emotional tension and offer time for you to connect with your body and yourself.
After the workshop we will be serving herbal tea in order for you to absorb your experience and let the healing continue if you wish to stay.
Jen is a therapeutic facilitator and movement practitioner with over a decade of experience holding space in the UK and around the world. A qualified Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master with specialisms in Yin and Restorative Yoga, Jen weaves together her practices to create wholesome experiences for deep rest and transformation. Whether through her unique retreats, workshops or creative sessions, Jen creates a nourishing environment and all of her offerings are trauma informed and full of care. Jen is also the Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of arts and wellbeing organisation Displace Yourself Theatre.

A contribution towards travel expenses are available (£5 per person). Please let us know on the day.
This workshop is run on a voluntary donation basis , you will be invited to pay as you feel after the session. There’s no expectation for you to pay. Any donations will enable Displace Yourself to continue providing creative wellbeing services to benefit others in Bradford. Please wear warm, comfortable clothing.
Mats and Blankets will be provided but please bring what you need to feel as cosy as possible. Please bring a pillow too if you wish.
