Zines (pronounced ‘zeen’) are small scale hand-made magazines that have been used for decades to communicate ideas, stories, experiences and identities that have been otherwise ignored in mainstream media. Join us for this workshop in the Library, where you can explore the Salford Zine Library and learn just how easy it is to create a zine to celebrate different cultures and share experiences. All equipment will be provided for the session. This event is to celebrate Refugee Week at the University but all are welcome to attend.
