Caritas Diocese of Plymouth and Caritas Portsmouth invite you to an online talk to explore how we can support people seeking asylum and refugees in the UK.
We will hear from the Lead Catholic Bishop for Refugees and Migrants, Bishop Paul McAleenan; an inspiring lady, whose strong faith and the warm parish welcome sustained her through her experience of the asylum system; a parishioner, who has supported refugees and people seeking asylum in many different ways; the director of Refugees at Home, offering temporary hosting placements for refugees and asylum seekers; the manager of a befriending project for refugees and asylum seekers.
