During Refugee Week, hundreds of events take place across the UK, including concerts, exhibitions, festivals, food fairs, fashion shows, conferences and sports events. Some of these events are organised by children and young people just like you. Anybody who wants to organise an event, no matter how small, can do so.

Refugee Week is an ideal time for you, your school or youth group to get involved in celebrations, campaigning or awareness-raising of refugee issues, and to have fun in the process!

Refugee Week is also an opportunity for you to explore what it means to be a global citizen and for you to think about your rights and responsibilities at home, school and in the wider world and how you are linked personally and globally, to people who have become refugees.
