A festival celebrating multiculturalism and promoting community cohesion in Hounslow and surrounding areas will be held by the Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA) in west London’s Gunnersbury Park on Sunday, 26 June.
The fabulous line-up includes Faiz Karizi, Afghanistan’s ‘King of Folklore Music’ who now lives in Sweden, and Delsa, the London based opera singer who also works as an NHS doctor.
As well as musical performance, there will be food and craft stalls demonstrating the distinctive contribution that refugees make to their new communities.
