Erika’s Suitcase exhibition will be showcasing some of the wonderful art work produced by S1 and S2 pupils at Harlaw Academy and Cults Academy based on our joint project – funded by the Scottish School Library Improvement Fund – which has looked at the experience of refugees past and present.  Pupils at both schools found out about a young Austrian girl, Erika Schulhof Rybeck, who came to Aberdeen with the Kindertransport. They learnt about her life as a refugee and linked her experiences to present day refugees.  Join us at the Aberdeen Arts Centre in our celebration of their work.
