Outside the City walls and originally the site of the priory hospital of St Mary Spital, later Spitalfields was colonised by Huguenot communities, Jewish refugees and more recently Bangladeshi migrants.
Come and explore all the layers of this extraordinary history on this walk, starting at the Kindertransport statue on the upper level of Liverpool Street station, and ending near Spitalfields market.
All proceeds from this walk will be donated to The Connection at St. Martin's, a charity helping the homeless people in London recover and find housing and work.
