Brighton & Hove Libraries, New Writing South and Book Nook present:
In celebration of Refugee Week 2020: Flash Fiction Competition 50 words max on the theme 'Imagine' All ages | Free entry Deadline: Sat 20 June, 5pm
Please submit your entries (in any language) along with your name, age (if under 18) and contact details to libraries@brighton-hove.gov.uk
Entries will be judged in the following categories: Under 12s Under 18s Adults
The Judges: Onjali Rauf, Sharon Duggal, Umit Ozturk & Monika Akila Richards!

The Prizes: Adults category
Winner: Exclusive 1-1 tailored writing support package from New Writing South worth £150
Highly Commended: New Writing South Friends memberships for 1 yr plus a 15 minute writing advice session with them online or by phone.
Under 12s and Under 18s categories

How to enter: Email your entry as a text document attachment (MS Word preferred) to libraries@brighton-hove.gov.uk by 5pm on Saturday 20 June. Please include your name, age (if under 18) and a contact method. Entries in another language will be accepted from writers for whom English is an additional language.
'I don't have access to a computer - can I still enter?' Yes! In this instance please send a clear photograph of your handwritten entry as above.

Winners and two runners up in each category will be announced in July.
