Join us for drinks, artwork and a social to celebrate World Refugee Day!

The Grounding Project provides horticultural therapy and community support for refugees and asylum seekers who have experienced trauma. This project is an NHS service for refugees and asylum seekers who have experienced trauma and post-traumatic stress due to war, trafficking and other human rights abuses. It is funded by the Maudsley Charity and set in the beautiful Roots and Shoots garden, which offers a tranquil piece of wilderness in the heart of London.

Gung Ho has been running a workshop to members of the Grounding Project focusing on positive memories and teaching sewing skills to the group. The group members would love to share their work with you.

The exhibition will be of handcrafted objects, photos, and stories made by group members alongside artworks from the Gung Ho community relating to climate change and displacement. These artworks will be available to purchase with all proceeds raised going to the Grounding Project.

Please share and bring along anyone else you think would enjoy it and we look forward to catching up with you!

Cheers and see you there,

Gung Ho
